He has been the Director of Food and Beverage for a number of boutique hotel properties in Seattle. As General Manager of Elliott’s Oyster House in Seattle, Washington, Kevin led the operation from $2.3 million in annual sales to $7.1 million in sales and three remodels over the course of 9 ½ years.

Shoemaker has served as president, vice president and a member of the board of directors of Seattle Executive Association, Seattle’s oldest business networking organization. Kevin stays on top of current trends by updating his business and management skills when needed. He recently completed a course in Project Management processes at Bellevue College.

Kevin’s training as a Birkman International Certified Leadership Consultant gives him insights into organizations and people – how they mesh and work together. Using his Executive Leadership experience with Birkman’s tools can help managers gain insight into themselves and unlock performance potential.

Kevin G. Shoemaker

“The yelling and histrionics, well, you can catch that action on TV. For Me, it is better for your mental and physical health when you become a whisperer – and for everyone else’s!” — Kevin G. Shoemaker

Why Restaurant Dynamics?

Restaurants are living, breathing, dynamic environments – every day produces new challenges. This is an extremely useful model for every service and product delivery business to learn and understand.

Why Prime Hospitality Solutions?

USDA Prime grade steak represents the top 1% of the beef market. Restaurant Dynamics provides clients with the top 1% solutions, gained from experience as well as from great mentors that have been a part of Kevin’s career.

Why Restaurant Whisperer?

It takes quietude to see problems at their root, and create solutions that work.  It takes patience to train and develop people. Teaching managers to be whisperers requires a climate of teamwork and hospitality. Team members reflect what they see in their managers, and like a mirror, project it right back to their guests. What reflection do you want your guests to see? Flustered and frantic? Or warm, calm, and engaging?
